After a long drought, I’m back! I was working on getting married, defending my PhD proposal, and creating a website for people to visit to see all of my pictures and buy them if they want (check it out! http://www.annecooperphotography.com). But, now I’m back. To start I’ll show you some pictures from our honeymoon, which will take a few posts. The first is from the beautiful San Francisco and Bodega Bay, CA. Bodega Bay is an amazing place everyone should visit if you can! More to come.
A building in San Francisco. Unsure of what it is, but its beautiful!
San Francisco Bay!
Bodega Bay! Beautiful and foggy 🙂
The Pacific Coast! I’m obviously excited to be there!
Things have been moving so fast, I forgot I had some fun pictures from my brief trip to McClellanville over the summer! Including fun pictures of two dolphins who apparently hang out near the docks and chase the boats. Another beautiful boat ride on the SC coast!
Enjoy!

Sunsets and calm morning waters! I’m afraid there are way too many sunset pictures, but it just kept getting more and more beautiful, so its the same objects in a lot of the pictures, just different colors! Enjoy!

A peaceful morning at Shelter Island!
Ropes hanging down off the bow of the boat (I went down into the “head” and shot this through the window!)
I finally went somewhere beautiful to take pictures! And 400 at that! But thankfully I have narrowed it down to the top 80 or so that I’ll split up over a few posts. Owen and I headed out to Shelter Island for the 4th of July weekend to visit with my aunt and uncle on their catamaran. The first are taken from the car on the way out there (benefit of a nice camera is that you can take decent pictures at 55 miles an hour!) with beautiful weather and clouds, and then I took some at the dock before we went out on the boat. I also put some shots from our afternoon cruise around Shelter Island. I’ll put up all of the sunset pictures in the next post. Enjoy!

Uncle Phil will not be happy that I managed to find a spider web on the boat, but I’m betting this is the only one!

Laura and I. Thanks Brian, you really added a lot to the picture 🙂
I’ve decided to stop apologizing for my lack of posts, as I think everyone has pretty much come to expect it by now 🙂 But today I’m posting the first of probably 2 posts of the engagement party for Owen and I in Greenville last weekend! It was so much fun and we are so thankful to everyone that came!
On a side note, my first attempt at doing this with Flickr, so we’ll see how it goes!

A never-ending Long Island winter translates into even more snow/winter pictures! Long Island got about 6″ or so last Friday, but a few miles inland in Westchester County where Owen’s family is from they got 2 feet! We went up to help out and so I got some fun pictures of what 2′ of snow looks like, for those who will never get to see it in person 🙂 Owen’s Grandmother lives up on a hill with an amazing view of the Hudson River and the Palisades, which is where all of these pictures are from.
Enjoy!

Owen happy to be done shoveling 2′ of snow off the driveway and unburying the mailbox that had been lost!
Sorry for being such a slacker lately. Here are some shots from up in Ossining, NY (Owen’s hometown). Owen wanted to make sure I had “winter” pictures for my yearly calendar 🙂 And for those of you unaccustomed to northern winters, lakes actually freeze! And people go skating on these lakes and don’t fall through the ice! Its amazing…
